As a way to be filled with wisdom so that we walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, Redeemer offers various Sunday School classes each Sunday from nursery through adults. Classes begin at 9am.
In answering the call to bring our children up “in the discipline and instruction of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4b), we have established a Sunday School hour for children, ages 3-5th grade. Groups are broken down as follows: 3 years old-kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grade, 3rd-5th grade, middle school, and high school. This offers age-appropriate curriculums, as well as smaller classes sizes to provide greater personal interaction with teachers, activities, and God’s word.
We are currently using curriculum provided by Children Desiring God. This curriculum “exists to equip the body of Christ to spread to the next generations a passion for the supremacy of God in all things for the joy of all peoples through Jesus Christ. Our aim is to impart to children a vision of God, who He is, and who we are in relation to Him, and to establish them with a foundation of doctrine and truth. We want them biblically grounded, seeing God as the hero of every story, with a God-centered world view and a faith that will hold them when the days of testing come. We want them to love the Lord their God with all their heart, and to delight in Him forever.” (childrendesiringgod.org). We hope your children are able to join us during this sweet time of learning together from 9:00-10:00 Sunday mornings.
Adult Sunday School is where we train our people through topical studies of theology. We have looked at everything from biblical counseling to visual theology. Currently we are learning evangelism from Jesus. Our trained leaders are walking our adults through the Gospels looking at how Jesus evangelized the lost. We are then taking those lessons and applying them to life.
Join us Sundays at 9am.
